St.Charles Lwanga Seminary was started with a vision of equipping the Namibian Church with committed and dedicated
native priests to carry on the mission of Jesus Christ, the Teacher, Priest and Shepherd. The vision and mission is
reverberated in the Seminary's motto United in the WORD to Shepherd. The Word of God is the foundation of our being.
The whole creation comes from the Word and ours is a Word-centered, Word-bound, Word -directed and Word-wedded existence.
The Word of God is communicated to us in a manifold ways. This word is to be listened to , reflected upon and realized.
This, essentially, is an enlightenment of the mind, the heart and the head. The formation program and academic pursuit at
St.Charles Lwanga Seminary is planned for such an enlightenment - a transformation of the person.

The graduation is rewarding. It is made possible only through critical study and reflective thinking. We are in the process of creating a culture of reading
and making use of the library
